I got Flickr to delete the photos from Explore as I discovered how to remove them from Flickr Scout also. I informed Flickr that adding photos over a year after the Expolre date makes no sense. However, they were only added over year after the Explore date. This is because two photos were added to Explore for dates in 2021. This is my Second Explore of 2023 and my Explore number 102 in total, since my first in March 2015. Coastal erosion defences are now being built just north of Bray Harbour. The Railway line had to be moved further inland in 1915 due to coastal erosion. I also passed on the beach the remains of the Dublin to Bray Railway line. The high cliff face and lack of access to the beach is also the reason why it was critical to be aware of the tide. The entire coast here is high cliff face of clay so coastal erosion is a problem. The Beach from Shankill to Bray is stony so not an easy walk. Therefore I was able complete the journey with no danger of being cut off by incoming tide. An essential check on the tides showed that the tide was going out and low tide would be late afternoon. It was my first time to complete the coastal walk on the beach from Shankill to Bray.
